The Partnership for a Healthy Ventura County (PHVC) is a partnership driven network that includes representatives from Ventura County Public Health, community organizations, direct health service providers, food security organizations, schools, local area businesses, and government agencies. We come together to share resources and promote policies and services for the sake of a healthy Ventura County.

To promote community activities, policies, systems, and environmental changes that foster healthy eating and regular physical activity to counter obesity and its related chronic diseases.

Join Us!
The Partnership for a Healthy Ventura County meets quarterly around the 3rd Thursday of every month, beginning in March, annually. The Steering Committee meets one month prior to the general partner meeting for planning purposes.
Meetings are facilitated and encouraged in person. A virtual hybrid option is available as needed. The agenda is sent prior to the meeting. Coffee, infused water, and light refreshments such as yogurt and fruit are provided.
