We post listings of public events, classes, workshops, celebrations and other community activities that foster healthy eating and regular physical activity in Ventura County on our Calendar page. The name and time of the event are posted on the interactive calendar with links to a description of the event.
Types of Events
Events submitted for posting must include healthy foods and beverages (if offering) and be free of alcohol and tobacco. If entertainment is offered, it must be family friendly.
We publish only activities from which no person is excluded from participation based on the grounds of race, color, national origin, religious affiliation or non-affiliation, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, citizenship, or political affiliation.
Submission Process
The deadline for submitting activities is the 20th of the month preceding the requested posting date. New activities submitted by the deadline will be posted by the last day of each month. You will receive an email confirmation with the text and planned dates of your listing. Text may be edited for spelling and grammar. Partnership for Healthy Ventura County reserves the right to make a determination whether an event or workshop meets criteria for posting on this website.
